Best Practice Internal Guidelines

AbilityNet have created a complete set of Best Practice Business Guidelines to help ensure every aspect of your business is as accessible as possible.

Distilling best practice

Every guideline document has been designed to represent the optimal approach in its area- ensuring accessibility is completely integral whether it be in the area of procurement, web development or rich media such as Flash and video. Each document represents many weeks of development- and only our guidelines ensure that accessibility is considered throughout every stage of the process.

BS 8878-Ready

All our documents, whether strategic or technical, are updated regularly especially when there is a development in relevant areas. For example, all our documents have been reviewed and updated to ensure they have implemented issues of conformance with the new British Standard in web accessibility ‘BS 8878’ that was published on 7 December 2010.
