TRI TOGETHER
Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Sunday 11 September
Leonard Cheshire Disability is proud to announce the launch of Tri Together, a new concept in triathlon, uniquely designed for disabled and non-disabled people to take part side by side. Race entry is now open, and so we’re writing to ask for your help to spread the word to your clients and partners.
Tri Together is a sprint distance triathlon, with an indoor 400m swim, a 15km cycle through the leafy surrounds of Crystal Palace Park and a 5km run finishing in the iconic Jubilee Stadium, and can be entered by individuals or shared in a team of two or three. Its fully accessible, with recumbent / hand cycles, tandems and sports wheelchairs welcome, wide pathways, accessible parking and fully trained volunteers to ensure disabled participants are fully supported.
We’ve attached a poster for you to circulate, and for more information about Tri Together you can go to the Leonard Cheshire Disability website
