Lab testing
We are able to provide formal lab testing at a fully equipped usability lab in central London. In the lab there are several video options and the potential for you to observe the testing behind one-way glass.
Requiring the hiring of lab space, this choice is more costly than our other disabled user testing options – but if you have a number of colleagues who wish to view the testing process without disturbing the users this is the option to choose.
As with our moderated testing you will receive complete video and audio recordings of the testers at work, discussions and comments during testing, and all screen activity.
As well as the recordings you will receive a comprehensive disabled user testing report which crucially includes input from our experts on all issues encountered during testing, with recommended solutions.
"We have worked with AbilityNet on a number of usability projects to complement our able-bodied testers with AbilityNet testers covering a wide range of impairments. Issues with accessibility and usability for disabled users are evident when viewed on video and screen-capture software, and clients really appreciate being able to see specialist technologies in use on their websites."
